Mayor McCall and Escambia Sharks sign Contract to use Anthony Pleasant Park

Mayor McCall and co-owners of the Escambia Sharks Semi-Pro Football Team (Willie “Jodey” Campbell and Sedrick Samuel) met at Town Hall on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 to sign a contract allowing the Sharks to use Anthony Pleasant Park for their home football games and practices. 

Jodey Campbell, co-owner and defensive coordinator and Sedrick Samuel, co-owner and player for the Sharks expressed their eagerness to "get the ball rolling” with this football season.  Games are on Saturday nights with kick-off at 7:00pm.

The Escambia Sharks are a Semi-Pro football team based out of Brewton, Alabama.  The Sharks compete in the XSFL.  The Sharks are made up of a broad range of experience from former college players to players who have not played since high school.

Anthony Pleasant Park is located at 221 East Highway 4 in Century.
