The Century Area Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce new members of its Board of Directors.

Paula Jernigan, Director of Pensacola State College Century Center and Kim Godwin of Town of Century were elected as Board Members during the January Board of Directors meeting.

Kim Godwin, webmaster for the joint Town of Century and Century Area Chamber of Commerce website, was chosen to enable her to have first-hand knowledge of all the Chamber events, goals and accomplishments.

Newly elected Chamber President Don Ripley expressed his delight.  “I'm very happy to see the way that the Century Branch of Pensacola State College is working with the community in providing training that will provide new job opportunities in Electrical Contracting, Plumbing and Welding, Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistants and many more.  We look forward to working with Paula.

“One of the purposes behind the website is the ever-present goal of job creation.  Kim’s fresh ideas and the enthusiasm she brings with her is welcomed.

“We are excited to see what 2013 holds for the businesses in our area.”

Clay Ingram, Florida Representative and Danita Andrews, Director of Business Development of the Greater Pensacola Chamber were elected as Ex-Officio Board members.
