Mayor McCall Honors Kyles and Elliott

Mayor McCall honored two Northview High School students with Proclamations.  LaMikal Kyles and Arkelle Elliott were recognized on May 6th , 2013 for their outstanding achievements in weightlifting during the 2012-2013 school year.

Mayor McCall recognized LaMikal Kyles and Arkelle Elliott for representing Northview High School and their community at the 1AState Weightlifting Meet in Kissimmee.

LaMikal Kyles was recognized for his Regional Weightlifting total of 535 pounds.  Mr. Kyles increased his weightlifting capacity to 560 pounds in the 183-pound class, personal best Clean Jerk of 250 and personal best Bench Press of 310 pounds at the 1A State Weightlifting Meet in Kissimmee. 

Arkelle Elliott was recognized for his Regional Weightlifting total of 575 pounds in the 199-pound class.  At the 1A State Weightlifting Meet in Kissimmee, Mr. Elliott matched his personal best Clean Jerk of 245 pounds and his personal best Bench Press of 330 pounds.
